At University of Minnesota Medical Center East and West Bank campuses, volunteers work primarily with adult patients and their family members. While you may have occasional interaction with the care team, you are not likely to have frequent interaction with doctors, nurses or other clinical staff.
We have many different volunteer roles throughout the Medical Center, most of which focus on small, non-clinical things we can do to make someone’s visit less stressful and a little bit easier.
The list below reflects all areas where volunteers may be placed. Please note that there might not be openings in your preferred area at the time that you apply.
