Advisory Board Volunteers

Make a Difference Today

The University of Minnesota Patient and Family Advisory Councils (PFAC’s) strives to ensure that The University of Minnesota will deliver high-quality patient-and family-centered care. These councils were formed with the recognition that patients and families are an essential resource to The University of Minnesota. By partnering with patients and families, The University of Minnesota will enhance processes, procedures and care delivery and fulfill its stated mission. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and out of high school. If you have any questions about volunteering, call Volunteer Services at 612-273-6565.

TIME COMMITMENT

Volunteers commit to a consistent monthly or bi-monthly meeting for 2 hours. The commitment will span roughly 2-3 years and will allow you to volunteer elsewhere within the hospital during or after your commitment ends.
