Target Audience:

Neonatal caregivers of all professions in Minnesota and surrounding states.

Planned presentation topics include:

  • Care of the preterm infant – respiratory considerations
  • Developmental care
  • Topics in pain and sedation
  • Parent panel

Continuing Education:

This program offers 6.0 contact hours and is designed to meet the Minnesota Board of Nursing criteria for mandatory continuing education requirements.

Nursing Professional Development at the University of Minnesota Children's Hospital is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. 6.0 ANCC contact hours offered to those who attend all sessions.

Program Goal:

Following participation in this conference, the learner will be able to list at least one presentation subject for which they learned new evidenced-based information that could be applicable to their neonatal practice.
