Message from the Editor-in-Chief

Welcome to Consult, a clinician-to-clinician publication from University of Minnesota Health.

Consult is designed to provide you with updates regarding treatment options, new and ongoing clinical research, and patient experience initiatives for your consideration as you explore specialty care options for your patients.

Through Consult, our goal is to serve as an educational partner to our colleagues in the medical community by sharing research-based content that delineates best practices in both clinical care and patient experience. We are committed to providing you with information that complements your decision-making process and to collaborating with you in the care of your patients, should you choose to make a referral to University of Minnesota Health.

Each issue will include specialty-specific updates, a related case study and information on criteria for making a referral, as well as what you can expect in terms of our commitment to a collaborative care model.
