For more than 20 years, the Parent Advisory Board has supported its mission to act as a bridge between patients, families and our children's hospital.
The group is composed of parents of children with inpatient or outpatient health encounters at University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital. Parents meet nine times each year to share their experiences, opinions and suggestions in a variety of areas including quality of care, nutrition and strategic planning.
Two main goals of the group are to advocate for programs for children at the children's hospital and to advise administrators and physician leaders about issues related to children and families.
