After your baby’s birth, our experienced baby specialists will help you learn how to care for your baby. You’ll learn important tips that are fascinating and even sometimes fun. Certified, caring lactation consultants are on hand to assist and support you for successful breastfeeding.
Should your newborn arrive early or need advanced care, a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is located immediately adjacent to The Birthplace. Care is provided around the clock by specially trained neonatal nurse practitioners who work in partnership with M Health neonatologists, who are recognized by US News & World Report for the best neonatal care in the Twin Cities.
