To protect our patients from the flu and other common illnesses, M Health Fairview locations enforce visitor restrictions year-round. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have taken additional steps to ensure the health of our patients, including the implementation of enhanced visitor restrictions at all M Health Fairview locations. View a list of our locations here.
We understand these measures may be difficult for our patients and families. Our top priority is to protect the health and safety of the people under our care. Patients are encouraged to work with their care team to find other ways to connect with loved ones.

If you are approved for a visit, please follow these guidelines. These guidelines apply even if you received a COVID-19 vaccine.
Masks are required for all patients and visitors to our facilities, with exceptions for children under age 2, those with health conditions who cannot wear masks, and those needing emergency care. This is to protect you and other patients and staff. You will need to reschedule your visit if you are not wearing a mask, unless it is an emergency. If you are unable to wear a mask and do not need emergency care, we suggest arranging for virtual care through Oncare.org. Learn more about our masking standards.
All visitors to our hospitals and clinics will be screened for symptoms and COVID-19 risk at each visit. You cannot visit if you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, muscle aches, headaches, sore throat, or diarrhea. Watch for signs at the location you are visiting for more information.
Clean your hands with alcohol-based hand sanitizer when you arrive and leave. Stay at least six feet away from others during your visit, and please go directly to and from the room you are visiting. Stay in the patient’s room during your visit. You may be asked to step out briefly for patient procedures.
Leave bags, jackets, or belongings at home or in the care.
We understand that not being able to visit loved ones is difficult. We encourage patients to work with their care team on alternative methods to connect and give and receive support. Learn how you can connect virtually with your loved one during these times through our handout.
Help us reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission by taking these steps:

Food, flower and gift deliveries are not allowed at our hospitals at this time. However, permitted visitors can bring food, flowers, or gifts with them when they visit. Please note, items such as flowers are not allowed on some of our units. Please check with care staff if you are unsure if a unit has restrictions. Family members may drop off essential items for patients such as glasses, hearing aids, computers, phones, chargers, and clothes.
Due to safety concerns around COVID-19, M Health Fairview cannot offer valet services to all patients at this time. However, we do still offer valet services for patients with mobility limitations at the following locations (hours of operation included):
The cost for valet services will remain the same as before.
If you prefer to self-park, tickets do not need to be stamped for validation. Parking equipment is already set for reduced hospital rate. For questions or concerns regarding these valet changes, please email MHValet@cornerstoneparking.com
