M Health Fairview walk-in clinic now open at Mall of America

The M Health Fairview Walk-In Clinic – Mall of America opened on Nov. 18. The clinic will serve shoppers, hotel guests, mall employees and nearby residents seven days a week.

The Mall of America has 520+ stores, dozens of fun attractions, and – now – a new walk-in care clinic.

On Nov. 18, we opened the M Health Fairview Walk-In Clinic – Mall of America to provide an easier, simpler healthcare experience for mall visitors, mall employees, hotel guests, and local residents. The clinic is located on Level 3 East, near the rotunda on the east side of the mall. It is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.

The 2,300-square-foot clinic has five exam rooms, a laboratory space for tests, a radiology room for X-ray exams, and a pharmacy program that will support the clinic’s care services. People seeking care at the clinic can walk in or reserve a time online.

Our M Health Fairview Walk-In Clinic – Mall of America is open seven days a week. Schedule an appointment or learn more about the clinic.

M Health Fairview is the newly expanded collaboration between the University of Minnesota, University of Minnesota Physicians, and Fairview Health Services. The healthcare system combines the best of academic and community medicine – expanding access to world-class, breakthrough care through our 10 hospitals and 60 clinics.

“This clinic is a great example of our intent to bring terrific patient care to where people are,” said James Hereford, President and Chief Executive Officer of Fairview Health Services. “The clinic will be an important part of the community of people and businesses that is created by the Mall of America.”

In addition to treating minor illnesses or injuries and fulfilling other common care needs, the clinic will provide:

  • Care for travel-related illnesses
  • Physicals for school, sports, and summer camps
  • Vaccinations and employer drug screenings

Travelers staying in nearby hotels, on flight layovers, or visiting Mall of America will also be able to receive care for travel-related sleep problems, gastrointestinal distress, and other medical issues. The clinic is located near a light rail station and a ride hailing drop-off/pick-up point on the mall’s east side. Clinic patients will also be able to use four reserved parking spots on Level P4 in the mall’s East Parking Ramp.

"Our new clinic at Mall of America will be there to help ensure visitors and workers have the best care and patient experience possible," said Jakub Tolar, MD, PhD, dean of the University of Minnesota Medical School. "It's a great opportunity to bring the innovative, world-class medicine we practice to people from across Minnesota and around the world."

“Mall of America continually looks at what conveniences and services can be added to our roster of offerings within the property. The addition of the M Health Fairview clinic will provide yet another convenience that truly creates a one-stop hub for the needs of our millions of visitors, employees and tenants,” said Jill Renslow, SVP of Business Development and Marketing for the Mall. “We are thrilled to welcome M Health Fairview to our eclectic mix of retailers, dining, and attractions at Mall of America.”
