There was no shortage of selfie photos and autograph signings during the Minnesota Vikings' visit to University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital on Tuesday.
Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph and his wife Jordan hosted an early Thanksgiving dinner for roughly 100 patients and family members at our hospital. The hour-long event drew a dozen current and former Vikings players to the hospital. The attendees included current Vikings Rudolph, Sam Bradford, Kentrell Brothers, Nick Easton, Brandon Fusco, Rhett Ellison, Zac Kerin, Xavier Rhodes, Cedric Thompson and Laquon Treadwell. During the Thanksgiving meal, Rudolph, Rhodes, Bradford and others took time to visit patients in their hospital rooms, mingle and chat in the hospital lobby.
There were plenty of happy moments for our patients upstairs...
...with lots of tail-wagging fun (courtesy of Dodi the therapy dog) downstairs.
The Vikings helped our patients celebrate some special occasions...
...and signed lots of footballs, t-shirts...
...to bring some holiday cheer to the families healing in our hospital.
