WHAT: Clinics and Surgery Center Open House
WHERE: University of Minnesota Health Clinics and Surgery Center, 909 Fulton Street SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455
WHEN: Noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 1
The 342,000-square-foot Clinics and Surgery Center opened on Feb. 22, 2016, and offers an unprecedented opportunity for University of Minnesota Health to reimagine the outpatient care experience for patients. The five-floor facility was designed and developed around the twin principles of innovation and accessibility. To meet that vision, our care providers and staff are leveraging innovative technology to improve the patient experience.
We are also the first in our market to offer extended hours for highly specialized care. Many of the clinics and services housed in our Clinics and Surgery Center are open for patients from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays. We also have extended hours for some of our services from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.
“We wanted to create an experience at the Clinics and Surgery Center that was incredibly unique—one that patients didn’t see at other places, one that was oriented toward customer service as much as possible,” said Reena Kanodia, the senior director of administrative clinic operations for University of Minnesota Health.
The weekend closure of Interstate 94 related to bridge repair in St. Paul may lead to detours or delays for visitors planning to attend the open house on May 1. Click here for more information.
