Want to gain a better understanding of midlife transitions, plan for a healthy future and maintain your vibrancy and joy?
The University of Minnesota Health Women’s Health Specialists Clinic is offering “Mindfulness and Wellbeing: The Mature Woman,” a six-week course designed to help inform women about the physical and psychological changes that occur during midlife transitions and beyond.
The classes are held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays beginning April 2 and running through May 7. The courses are held at the Women’s Health Specialists Clinic in the Riverside Professional Building on the West Bank of our University of Minnesota Medical Center campus in Minneapolis.
Classes will feature weekly interactive discussions and may include the following guest presenters from the clinic:
The program is a resilience model developed through the work of a health coach facilitator, nurse practitioner, physician, psychologist, acupuncturist, nutritionist, massage therapist, and Reiki therapist to improve self‐care and optimal health.
